What is Joomla?

Why would I use Joomla over other Content Management Systems?

Joomla is, in my opinion, the best CMS for people who are just kicking off into web. This is because it is simple, has many functions & you dont REALLY have to know too much about programming in order to use it! Sure there are other products which are open source, more powerful & a heck of a lot more complicated – but the end result is that you want to be able to get a website up quickly & be able to administer it with ease. Joomla has such a wide spectrum of functionality's written for it (as components) that you really dont often need to use anything else!

Are there other Products which are better then Joomla in their area of speciality?

Yes of course, Joomla is a Content Management System, you can use SugarCRM for example for your customer Relationship Management – an EXCELLENT product which is specially developed for CRM users, Magento eCommerce is specially designed & coded for online stores & even Project Pier is created especially to run project management online! all in all though, Joomla is a great blanket system and can be integrated with those products in some way or another as you get better at what you do!

Do you Teach Graphic Design?

Firstly, I would like to point out that I am not by any means a graphic designer, nor am I going to call myself one! In saying that I can still teach you the basics of using certain programs like Adobe Fireworks and the like in order to get the results you need when working with Joomla!

Do you Teach people to Program?

Heavens no! In fact I am not a professional programmer either! In saying that, I AM how ever going to show you what I have learnt about EDITING code to customise Joomla to your own will! I have learnt the simples of this and can show you enough to get you by, and if you study from there maybe you can learn more and even become a coder....

What makes “Joomla For Designers” DIFFERENT from other Tutorial websites?

Well, I am sure there are some neat little tutorials out there, but Web Development & Online Marketing are the foundational skills that earn my income – without them I would not be able to feed my family!  I have spent thousands of hours (and dollars) learning, growing as well as making some painful and expensive mistakes. Aren't you going to lose money by teaching people all your secrets?

I don’t think so. I believe that there is more than enough work to go around and more importantly I believe that a website should be in the control of the owner, not the developer. There is no one who can compete against me, my clients use me because they like to deal with me. I have always maintained that the website OWNER should have total control over their site – not some so-called-developer who charges $100 for 5 minutes worth of work to be done because a minor charge or addition is required!

How up to Date is this site going to be kept?

I am sharing with you my bread and butter…simply put, I can’t afford to not be on top of the latest trends. I am very literally letting you have a poke around inside my businesses. I'm showing you techniques and tips I am using now, and updating them as I find better, faster, higher converting ways to do things. I am continually feeding my head with the latest technology developments. In fact, in my main business I charge a high fee when I do work, this is because I spend up to 80% of my own time doing research & Development in order to stay on top of things on behalf of my clients.

Do you teach eMarketing Strategy?

I will teach you some basics of Internet Marketing, I learn from some of the best out there, I watch what they do, listen to what they say & sometimes even buy products to teach me more! I will set you on a path toward learning as much Internet Marketing as you woul like!

Do you have an Affiliate Program?

The short answer is yes. Application to our affiliate program is by invitation only. We dont want the internet spammed by unknown affiliate people just so that they can make money on us, we will release affiliate program entry when we see someone with Value who we trust.
